Unanswered Question
Dec 1st, 2008

I want to install the Cisco Unity 5.1 with exchange 2003 on MCS 7835. I will install Unity and exchange on the same MCS Server. I want to configure cisco unity in failover mode. Please let me know how to configure it. What are the software limitations. Is it require the same Hardware component because I will use MCS 7845 for failover. What are the license limitations.

I have this problem too.

look at the failover requirements and exchange requirements, if you want UM you cannot have Exchange onbox.

Are you trying to install Unity as unified message communication or just voice mail only? There are different sets to follow.
