Hi all
Maybe somebody can answer this short question: Does the activation of Netflow interrupt the operation of a productive Cat4500 system in any way? If yes, how? Are there specialities to be taken into account to keep an interruption as short as possible?
The Netflow Feature Card is already installed on the Sup IV and the appropriate IOS is running.
Thanks for sharing any experience.

Hello Toni,
it shouldn't cause any impact on your switch.
Simply netflow accouting will start to be executed.
It can be wise to do it during a short maintainance window as an additional safety measure
Hope to help

Toni,
I used netflow on a couple of 4500 sup 4 engines where I used to work, and never had any trouble with them. Don't forget to pull that card off your supp if it ever fails since the replacement card will not have it installed.
