LMS 3.1 - Understanding UT-History Report

Hello,

I just discovered an intresting behavior of UT-Reports.

Generating a endhost-report with CM:UT>Reports and selecting appropriate filter endhosts from last UT-disco cycle will be shown. Devices not seen during these discovery, but some time before will only be shown in UT-History-Report (CM:UT>Reports>Report Generator>Application=History,Report=End Host History).

Is that true that standard end-host-report only shows devices seen in last UT-Disco cycle?

Unfortunately I couldn't find any doc about this.

Thanks for an clarification.

Lothar

The end host report will show all end host records regardless of when they were last seen in the network. Of course, this depends on your delete interval settings. If you are deleting all old end host data aggressively, then what you're seeing is probably expected. Also, if you are running an end host custom report, your custom report settings could be filtering out old end host data.
