Solved: 7911 and Jabra GN2000 series headset

Hello dear friends,

To use an headset with 7911 i have unplug the handset and use it with the headset right?

Can i use this brand without problems?

And i also need the amplifier on the 7911, right?

Hey Met,

Hope life is treating you well! You are most correct here, the Handset will be unplugged and in it's place will be the Amplifier when using IP Phone models like the 7911. The Amp will then connect both the Headset and Handset with the ability to switch between the two so the user can use either/or.

Hi, I'm trading a central siemens with optipoint for a call manager. the Cisco 7911 does not work with the jabra2000 headset I have on all siemens optipoint phones. will it be possible to tell me which amplifier?
