ntp not synchronizing

Have ntp configured on 2 routers that are doing hsrp.

was running older version of 12.4 T and this was working fine.

upgraded to 12.4.22T and ntp stopped working.

Anyone had issues like this?

If so please help?

Apparently 12.4(20)T introduced NTP Version 4. I initially had some issues syncing my home 877 ADSL router with a Catalyst 3550 I use to sync everything at home to (3550 syncs externally to three public NTP servers). But after a day or so it was fine.

i have moved the ntp source to be on older ios and still having probs with ntp not staying snyced.

any suggestions?
