Master/Slave DCR - How does discovery work?

When you have a Master/Slave DCR setup, what happens to the devices that the Slave server discovers?

Is there any point in running a scheduled discovery on the slave when the master is active?

The slave Discovery updates the master DCR. ALL updates happen to the master DCR, then the slave pulls down the changes. If the slave and master are managing the same set of devices, it makes no sense to have Discovery active on both. It would be good to keep the slave configured for Discovery, however, in case of a disaster. That way, it would be easy to quickly schedule a Discovery job on the slave with all of the correct parameters.
