CCSP new path

Unanswered Question

Hello everyone. I got my CCNA last May and I am considering a career path in security. I was looking at the CCSP prerequisites. It is asking for CCNA security or CCNA + SND. SND exam has expired. Will my CCNA be enough? What if I took the CCNP path and switched back to CCSP, Do I still need to take the CCNA security? If I have to take CCNA security, what books would you recommend?

Thank you.

The web site is pretty clear.

CCNA Security is a prerequisite, and you will not reach CCSP certification without it, regardless if you have CCNP, or not.

There are current Cisco Press books that will support your preparation for CCNA Security.
