the cisco vpn client is 32 bit only and I have an employee that needs to work remotely but she has 64 bit vista. Is there a third party program or other client to use?

Our solution for this has been a VM running Windows XP 32 bit, just for VPN access. Only requires free VMware Player, and may be covered by your Select agreement MS licensing wise. Ugly but works OK.

So, just download VMWare Player and install it on the XP and you were able to use Cisco VPN client?

Thanks.

I just downloaded this freeware Windows x64 IPsec client, installed it on XP x64 and it works fine with an ASA (non SSL) http://www.shrew.net/?page=download∏=vpn.

Another option you can try is NCP Secure Entry Client, its compatible with 64-bit OS machines. You can download it here:
