CCNA Voice to CCNP?

I'm going to be finishing my CCNA in the next couple of weeks. My boss would like me to work on the CCNA Voice after that, which I honestly don't mind. However, I would like to take the CCNP after that. The requirements page lists a valid CCNA is required. My question is when I do get the CCNA Voice will I still have my CCNA in general? If I don't then will the CCNA Voice be able to count towards the CCNP later?

Hi Nick,

If you complete all the requirements and receive your CCNA and then move on to complete the CCNA-Voice you will have both great Certifications :) These will be valid for 3 years and will count as proper prerequisites towards the CCNP Cert.

Hope this helps! And best of luck with your studies,
