hunt pilot showing number busy

Hi Sir,

I configured a DID number as hunt pilot for hunting through four numbers.When I am dialing internaly it is working.When I am dialing from outside numbers am getting busy tone.When I am landing external call to one DID and transfer the call to another DID and configured second as pilot number,then it is working.Please help me to do hunting with one DID.I am using cume 4.3.Any reply will be valuable...

This sounds like the external gateway does not have the hunt pilot in it's Calling Search Space. You may want to ensure that whatever partition the hunt pilot exists in is included in the CSS of your gateway.

Alternatively, you can create a translation pattern within one of the partitions your gateway can see which tranforms to the hunt pilot DN/partition.

Thanks a lot for your reply.The problem was solved.It is due to an existing ephone dn in the configuration with the same number as of pilot number.When I removed that ephone dn it is working fine
