CUP 7 SRV and Device Pools

I've been asked to get some info re using DNS SRV (as opposed to DNS A records) - we are looking for specific details of how to set that up in DNS, are there any Cisco docs detailing this?

Also why are so many CTI Gateway profiles automatically created (one for each DP on CUCM) ?

What's the significance of this and what should be used for the CUPC users - can we use one an delete the rest / could be create one manually and delete all of the auto ones ? What stops them being created automatically in CUP later if new DP's are added to CUCM ?

The CUPC CTI GW profiles are auto-created based on CallManager Groups. The CUP CUCM Sync Agent creates them as a convenience for admins. CUPC soft clients should point into the same CallManager group that the phone which is to be controlled.
