Auto-MDIX router support

Hi, Please let me know weather 3845 router support Auto-MDI&X feature or not.

If yes then how to configure it.

If Auto-MDIX feature is available in a device, then it will be enabled by default

Best thing would be to connect a PC to the router ethernet using a straight cable and see if it works. If it does then it supports

However it does not indiacte anything in the " sh controller gigabit ethernet " command

Hi Narayan,

thanks for your valuable suggestion but my question is still not solved-

I would like to connect two 3845 routers back to back but thru straigth cable but its not working.

Can i connect it thru straight cable if yes then how?

I heared abt MDI/MDIX command so query is that weather it is working on 3845 router or not.

The command is mdix auto but i do not see it available in the 3545 code
