Can someone explain how to install more licenses for CAD? We are intermittently running out and are in the process of purchasing more. Or should this be something TAC should do?

Run the LicenceManager, hit the web site, enter the customer ID, and the two "Request #"s that are showng on the LicenceManager, and the number of licences you need. Hit the button.

When it returns with the 4 numbers, use copy and paste to copy the 4 numbers into LM.

Geoff

Look at the installation guide, the process is pretty straight forward. You do the same process as the initial license installation.

Not quite the same.

You need to have the customer ID number that was generated when you first went to the Spanlink licence site and requested your first licenses.

It's not specified in the document, but when you did that (you would have set the customer number to zero) and it returns with the 4 keys based on the computer ID, which you copy into LicenseManager.exe, you should have set the customer ID to the number returned.

It's not necessary, but if you did, now when you run LicenseManager.exe you will see the number.

Anyway, assuming you copied this down, go back to the licencing web site and, after logging in, enter the customer numer. The details will be retrieved, and you can request more licences up to what you have paid for.

So after I get the needed keys I just run LicenseManager and put this information in?

Run the LicenceManager, hit the web site, enter the customer ID, and the two "Request #"s that are showng on the LicenceManager, and the number of licences you need. Hit the button.

When it returns with the 4 numbers, use copy and paste to copy the 4 numbers into LM.

Geoff

Sounds like a plan

Thanks Geoff
