Hi,

In config mode, enter the following command-

boot system flash:c2960-lanbase-mz.122-44.SE3.bin

Then save the config and reload. It should come up with the new IOS.

Hope that helps.

Thanks,

Any reason why I can't add "switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q" to to int gig0/1 port?

I can do "switchport mode trunk" only, is it dot1q only be default or something?

The 2960 only supports 802.1q trunking ie. it does not support ISL trunking. So you don't get the option to set dot1q as it is the only one available.
