Hi Guys,
I am faced with the challenge of connecting 2 switches located at different building next to each other. I choose to have on one end, the core switch WS-C3750G-24PS-S with transceiver module GLC-LH-SM plugged in, single mode fiber cable running in between and the other end a WS-C2960-24TC-L with GLC-LH-SM module.
WS-C3750G-24PS-S --- GLC-LH-SM ---single mode fiber cable --- GLC-LH-SM --- WS-C2960-24TC-L
The distance between both building should be no more than 1 km. Did I size the setup correctly to ensure both side can see each other on the network?Any thing I should take note as I am implementing this for the first time. Please advise, thanks.

Yes your setup is correct.
Only thing to take care is label your patching cable which is transmitting and which is receiving. so that trans of one is connected to receive of other.
In case still have any doubt let us know

Also, keeping your optical connections clean is very important. Get yourself a connector cleaning tool or kit, similar to the below items. They are easy to use and may save you some headaches.
