Just a heads-up!

Hey guys just installed Java 6 update 11 and this breaks ADSM v6.1(1) running on a PIX 515 running 8.0(3). Gives you a unconnected sockets not implemented, and then closes! Just removed it and it'll start working again. I verifed this on two other computers running xp-pro.

Hope this helps someone!

Cheers everyone and have Merry Christmas!

Thanks! Definitely helped out. I had the same problem with Java 6 update 10 as well. Using Java 6 update 7 now and it works fine.

I confirm that both Java 6 Update 10 & 11 break ASDM. I am running ASMD 6.1(5) to ASA 8.0(4). Reverting to Java 6 Update 7 fixed the issue on two different systems.

I've been having numerous problems with ASDM lately, although they began before I updated to 6_11. I could swear I was running just fine on 6_10 until just late last week.

I'm running ASDM 5.2.4 on 7.2.4.

I have spent much time searching on sun's java site and I can not find 6_9. Can someone let me know how/where to find it?

Thanks.

Anyone?

This is becoming a substantial problem.

Having had to go through this earlier this week, I've fund that the older versions are available at:

Update ASDM to 6.1(5)51 if your os level can take it. I think you have to have at least 8.0.1 but verify.
