Do you have any networking experience? Are you currently in a network-related job? I would say experience trumps certs >= 99% of the time.

Try to get some experience on your resume. While hardly anyone takes my advice on this, volunteering at a local charity or church is a great way to get something on the resume. Those organizations always have a need for free or low cost help.

Also, if there is a Cisco Users group in your area - join it. Networking with others in your field is a great way to learn of job opportunities.

Good Luck,

Jim

Jim is right. There is much you need to know that is not on any exam, and employers want to know your work experience. If you work in an IT field already talk to the people in the network team. Volunteer at churches or schools... look to network not only computers, but yourself.
