Hi ALL:
I have a 2 L3 switch which are connected to l2 Switch the L2 switch is again
connected to one more L2 and then to router.
I want to added a static route on both the L3 ,for which the next hop is router.
What configuration do i have to do on L3 and L2 switch for this to work.
L3---->L2---->L2----->Router

Are they all in the same subnet or the two L3's are seperated by a seperate L3 link?

Hi Narayan,
I am looking for a solution to pass my vlan x traffic to the router and all other traffic the the way it was going ,right now there is a default route pointing to the firewall on L3 for all the traffic the firewall is in between the L2 and for this solution i want to bypass the firewall as well so i have not inclued it in the diagram.

Hi Vishwa ,
"IP helper" could be the best way for you or configure Static route to each device.
