Hi all,
I was looking to install failover on my exisitng PIX 515 and wanted to check the licensing I have in place for these PIX's. Where and/or how would I check that?
Thanks.

Also can anyone tell me the failover options for a PIX 515e as opposed to a 515.

use the sh version under CLI. PIX515 should have unrestricted license for the failover.
Licensed features for this platform:
Maximum Physical Interfaces : 3
Maximum VLANs : 10
Inside Hosts : Unlimited
Failover : Disabled (This should be Enable)
VPN-DES : Enabled
VPN-3DES-AES : Enabled
Cut-through Proxy : Enabled
Guards : Enabled
URL Filtering : Enabled
Security Contexts : 0
GTP/GPRS : Disabled
VPN Peers : Unlimited

Hi,
"Show Version" will show if Failover is enabled or not. For example:
pixfirewall# sh ver
Cisco PIX Firewall Version 6.3(5)
Compiled on Thu 04-Aug-05 21:40 by morlee
pixfirewall up 14 days 21 hours
Licensed Features:
Failover: Enabled
VPN-DES: Enabled
VPN-3DES-AES: Enabled
Also, Below is the Pix and Failover URL which has some additional information and configuration guidelines.
