Are VACLs enforced in hardware on the 3750 and are there performance issues when using VACLs on the 3750s switches

Hi,
It is my understanding the VACLS are done in Hardware on the 3750. But there are some limitations in how the VACLS are processed if the 3750 runs out of TCAM Space. That is the QOS, RACL, VACL, etc features enabled on the 3750. The below URL has a lot of good information on this topic.

the 3750 series switches complete hardware-foward only IPv4 packets with no options set in Ethernet II encapsulation. This includes bridging, routing, security (Including VLAN ACL), and Qos Lookup. Packets that do not conform to all three criteria will be forwarded using a combination of hardware or software forwading.
