Anyone know if h323 has survivability built in?

Basically, if I have call in progress with an h323 gateway from CUCM, will the call stay up if I lose a Subscriber? Right now, I have a Pub and Sub. When I have a call in progress, and the subscriber goes offline, the current call drops. Seems to be expected, but I can not confirm this. Is this correct?

Same for my gatekeeper. If I lose a Subscriber connected to a Gatekeeper, calls in progress get dropped. But new calls then hit the Publisher, etc. Expected by default with h225, h245, h323?

Thanks!

Looks like you'll need CCM 4.1.3 and a gateway with 12.4(9)T or later.

Check out this document:

Actually, I found out in CUCM 6.x there is a trigger in the Service parameters that allows the H323 peer to stay alive when dropped. Worked perfect in 6.x, not sure about 4.1.3. For IOS, there is Call Preservation command that works in 12.3 and 12.4
