We have two IP contact centers in two different locations interconnected by metro-ethernet. However, we have recording system only in the main contact centers. Is it possible to do remote span across the metro-ethernet such that we can mirror the traffic in the remote contact center to the main contact center ? Assuming there is not routers between two sites but just two pair of layer 3 3750G performing inter-site routing.

Hello Chun,
if you can build a logical L2 link between them to associate with the remote span vlan you should be able: this requires your provider to perform 802.1Q tunneling to carry your tagged frames between sites
see
if instead you have a service not capable of 802.1Q tunneling you cannot do it.
Hope to help

Thanks a lot. I think the metro-ethernet SP supports Q-in-Q and I guess the solution should work across the Vlan.
