Stateful Failover for IPSec

Hi all,

We have a VPN between two routers Cisco 2811 with IPSEC and GRE. But now we want redundancy. I have been reading about Stateful Failover for IPsec and it sounds good, but I have a doubt, the routers have 12.4(15)T3 IOS Version, but 2811 can support this feature?

Can anybody help me, please. I can't find it on Cisco web.

Thanks for your help

The Stateful failover for IPsec feature is supported on certain number of platforms based on this documnetation .

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_3t/12_3t11/feature/guide/gt_topht.html#wp1043332

But to confirm look here and do search by feature keyword Stateful failover for Ipsec, the only platforms listed are: 1805, 3725, 3745, 3825, 3845, 7200 series, and 7301.

To be %100 sure you may need to open TAC case and have the last word from them. But I do not believe it is suported on the 2800 series.
