Can anyone tell me what format the .backup files from a CUE 2.X - 3.X are in? I have tried tar, gzip, img, etc. and have not found the correct one. I need to extract some voicemails out of a backup file I have.
I believe it is a CUE specific format. I don't think it's possible to pull out individual voicemails from a backup. One option would be to restore the backup to another CUE module, use IMAP to connect to CUE and save the voicemails out as .WAVs.
I was able to find out it's actually a PostgreSQL database backup file thanks to a friend here at the office. I'm going to make an attempt to restore it to another PostgreSQL server and try to extract that way.
