Hello Duane,

>>What is the correct source file name for the IOS?

the one that is listed in the show ver in the line System Image file

System image file is "flash:c2600-i-mz.122-8.T5.bin"

the part after the : can be enough if your router has only one flash filesystem otherwise you need to use also the part before the :

Hope to help

Just do a "dir flash: , that is the filename you would use.

After performing the dir flash: be sure to include the directory name in addition to the file name otherwise you will get an error stating this is a directory

copy flash: tftp

tftp ip address:

source file name: dir\filename.bin

destination file name: file.bin

Thanks for the help. I have the IOS backed up on my computer.
