Hello all,
I am in the need of some help here please.
I have a call being matched with several dial peer and i was wondering which dial peer did it choose at the end of the search, i know that the longest match is the one, but how do i see this in the debug?
here is what i got:
debug dialpeer:
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: Inside dpMatchPeersMoreArg
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: dpMatchPeersMoreArg: Match Dest. pattern; called (1128187069780)
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: Inside dpMatchCore:
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: destination pattn: 1128187069780 expanded string: 1128187069780
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: MatchNextPeer: Peer 11 matched
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: MatchNextPeer: Peer 13 matched
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: MatchNextPeer: Peer 21 matched
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: MatchNextPeer: Peer 23 matched
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: MatchNextPeer: Peer 1111 matched
Dec 15 04:45:14.948: dpMatchPeersMoreArg: Result=0 after MATCH_ORIGINATE
so how do i know what dial peer it send the call to?
am i doing the right debug ?
any help in the matter would be well appreciated.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,
You can use show call active voice command to display active call information in progress. It display the contents of the active call table (information about call times, dial peers, connections, quality of service, etc).
More to read about its usage:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2/voice/command/reference/vrf_r.html#wp1113752
Also you can use the show voice call status and see which inbound and outbound dial-peers are being used by an active call.
Additionally, there is the show dialplan number command to display which outgoing dial peer is reached when a particular telephone number is dialed.
More to read about its usage:
Hope this help you.
