Dear Netpro community,
I encountered a situation whereby I am puzzled by the behaviour. I have a HP blade system with HP Virtual Connect.
The profile configured in the VC Connect is as followed:
Bay 5 Port 4
Bay 6 Port 4
Bay 5 is connected to Bay 6
However, if the etherchannel between C2960G is break or the command switchport mode trunk is not present, I would not be able to ping to the HP Blade Server, which should not be the case.
According to my sysadmin, the server profile is having 1 Logical NIC that binds to 2 different physical ports on the HP Virtual Connect.
