PHONE UPGRADE

Hello,

i was trying to upgrade some phones on my network to factory default and they got stucked.

its been like that for the past four weeks with just a dot sign

its affecting 7970 and 7961

i need support from anyone in getting this fixed

Check the TFTP settings and reachability. Is this CUCM or CME?

My guess, based on my experience, is that there is a problem with TFTP or reaching the TFTP server. In rare cases, the phone may have been smoked when you reset it.

i can not even check the TFTP setting because the phone is stuck in upgrade

please what do you mean by smoke

By smoked, I mean that the image is corrupted. In which case you will have to RMA the phone.

Check the TFTP configuration on the DHCP server. If this is correct, you will need to make sure that the phone can reach the TFTP server, make sure the network is not blocking it.

i inputed the the TFTP Server ip address to the phones manually.
