Hello together,
we use ca spectrum to manage our network infrastructure. We also store the configs of our cisco switches with spectrum via snmp.
This config copy via snmp works fine with all but the cat os 8.4.11(GLX) switches. Spectrum uses the CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB to download the config of these switches but this doesn't work.
Does anybody know what could be the reason for this problem?
Best Regards,
Thorsten Steffen

The CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB is supported in this version of CatOS, and copy operations should work. What exactly is Spectrum doing, and what errors does the switch return? A sniffer trace of the operation would be helpful to see.

That's the problem. The CISCO-CONFIG-COPY-MIB is not supported on the Cat4K. It is only available on the Cat6K in 8.4 code. You will need to use the CISCO-STACK-MIB on the Cat4K to copy the configuration.
