Which services shouldn't I run on CUCM 6 cluster? Some bestpractice

Can somebody advice me what servicse shouldn't I run on all servers? Forexample Extension mobility feature I don't use - so I should use it. What else?

The services that I want:

Call proccesing,

conferencing,

TFTP,

web dialer,

CTI services (have IPCC integrated)


so thats all


As I understood I answered for my qeustion?




What about DHCP service on CUCM? Should I stop it if I use external DHCP?


Also I think I can stop CAR, beacause I didn't

use it.



CDR should be enebled ofcourse.

well my friend, seems you're answering your own question =)


if you're using an external DHCP there is no reason to leave the service running on CUCM also if using just CDR but no CAR there is no reason to leave them running


you need IPVMS for conferencing
