Hello,
I need use data from CiscoWorks database(CiscoWorks Sybase Server).
CiscoWorks LMS 3.1 run on Windows 2003, with database Sybase SQL Anywhere 11.
I tried connecting through ODBC (port 43441). For test I installed new
CiscoWorks server. I tried all combination of user/password data which I set
during installation process. Unfortunately it doesn't work.
ODBC Client send information - [OpenLink][ODBC][SQL Server]Login incorrect.
(20014).
Anyone knows where can I find correct information about login and password?
Thanks for any ideas,

Direct access to the CiscoWorks databases is not supported. We offer some tools to get at some of the data (cwcli for RME data and cmexport for Campus Manager data). We are considering some level of direct ODBC/JDBC access for the next release of LMS due out in the summer of 2009.

Anything new on this topic? We are waiting to upgrade to the latest version if we can have xDBC access to the store. Is the Summer 2009 in beta available where we can demo/try it to get justification? We are currently at the old 2.5 and plan to just start over with a fresh install. Also - with roughly >5K devices, what would be the recommended platform to run the latest code on?
Thanks
JIM

This is wrong. There are no default passwords for these databases. The passwords are randomly generated, or chosen by the user.
