CM 6.X LDAP Authentication with Microsoft AD

Hi everyone,

Can you offer guidance on the following scenario? I have read the SRND and Config guide for LDAP integration. My question is regarding the setup of the User Search Base. Here is my setup...1 Domain with 1 main OU which is subdivided into several smaller OU's. For Example:

Domain = cisco (for some strange reason, there's no ending to the domain....will this be an issue?)

Main OU = TEAMS

Sub OU = A

Sub-Sub OU = 1

First Users

Sub-Sub OU = 2

Second Usrs

Sub OU = B

Sub-Sub OU = 1

Third Users

Sub OU = C

Sub-Sub OU = 1

Fourth Users

In order to integrate CM with AD, will I need to create multiple ldap directories searches and syncs, or can I specify the Main OU of TEAMS and the sub OU users will also be pulled in?

You can specify the main OU in this case TEAMS and the Sub OU's will be pulled in to the CUCM server.

Under LDAP User Search base (let's say your domain is cisco.com)

So you should have

ou=TEAMS,dc=cisco,dc=com
