There's an old Voicemail System which only supports modem access. It also supports telnet but it's not enabled and the only way to access the system for now is through modem. My laptop is not equipped with hardware modem and won't be able to support one. I was wondering if it exists any softmodem technology which can use the CPU and memory resources instead of a dedicated hardware.
