CCM servers get PerfDisk warnings

Here is what I get in the event log.

Unable to read the disk performance information from the system. Disk performance counters must be enabled for at least one physical disk or logical volume in order for these counters to appear. Disk performance counters can be enabled by using the Hardware Device Manager property pages. Status code returned is data DWORD 0.

Microsoft suggests that I run diskperf -y then reboot.

These warnings started as soon as I unpluged a USB external hard drive. Used that HD to do a backup of our Callmanager servers.

Hi Julien,

This is a pretty common problem. I got these errors once when just using a USB to load some files on CCM. Here is a link from Michael @ Cisco;

Hope this helps!
