Is there a way to limit the number (like to one) of emails sent from Ciscoworks syslog. This is the automated syslog emails that is triggered. The device repeatedly sends its syslog messages and the email gets sent base on these traps. I'm getting saturated with emails. I've looked at everything from filering at the device and Ciscoworks setup. Any insight is appreciated.

I do not. I know of no one that has written such a rate-limiting script.

This is not possible from within RME. If the device(s) support the syslog rate-limiting feature, you can configure it on a per-device basis to limit the syslogs sent (see http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_4t/12_4t11/htnmsylg.html#wp1056351 ).
Alternatively, instead of using the built-in email feature of RME, you can write an automated action script to do the rate-limiting for you (and only send emails periodically).

Do you know of any good links to these automated action scripts ?
