DCR issues

Hi,

I had imported devices from ACS into DCR but some of the devices were not rechable at the time importing, now those devices are reachable but they are still in UNKNOW devices list.Do they automatically come in known devices list when they come up or I must need to use device discovery.

I can't use device discovery as devices filtering is not working any more even though I put device entry in Include Devices in filter options of Device Discovery settings.

I am using common services 3.1.1.

DCR itself does not contact devices. In order for a device to move from an unknown type to its actual type, another application will need to be able to poll its sysObjectID. This can be applications such as RME or Campus Manager, or it can be Device Discovery.
