DFM displays IP not device name

DFM will display a devices IP address instead of it's hostname. DNS has been setup for the device and works from the server. Have deleted device and re-added it but still get the IP appearing. Do anyone know a fix for this?

I'm using LMS2.6, DFM 2.0.12

Java is a funny thing when it comes to resolving IPs to hostnames. Your DNS must have a one-to-one mapping, and the NMSROOT/bin/resolver.pl script must show that the IP properly resolves. You might try adding an entry for one of the devices to the server's local hosts file, then remove the device from DFM, and re-sync it from DCR.

Just found out the reverse DNS hasn't been setup when the admin's created the DNS records. Thanks.
