Hi,

I have found quiet a few references to various ILPOWER errors on this site, but none the same as the error I am getting.

ILPOWER-3-CONTROLLER_ERR: Controller error, Controller number 4: has been reset unexpectedly or s2w bus err

Happens for controller numbers 3, 4, & 5.

Dissabling inline power has no effect.

I am not sure how helpful this reply will be but here goes anyway....

You are running quite an old IOS release on that 3550, in fact I can't even find 12.1(13)EA1a on CCO. Therefore my first suggestion is get it upgraded to a later release. If you want to stick with 12.1 then 12.1(22)EA10b is the latest, however I strongly recommend that you upgrade to the latest 12.2 release - 12.2(46)SE.

Upgrading may not solve your problem however, but it is the first thing I would try.

Andy
