eicar test / CSC-SSM

hi,

I was trying out the anti-x test given in CSC-SSM Administrator Guide page 33.

I browsed to eicar.org and click the 'Anit-Malware Testfile' button for download. I did not see any security event on the browser and nothing showed on Threats and Live Security Events log on CSC-SSM.

The CSC-SSM is activated, firewall policy is global (all traffic forwarded for scanning), and CSC-SSM is not in a failed state.

Could you please suggest how can I test the anti-x on ASA with eicar file.

Ok. I downloded the eicar file for another website and not www.eicar.org and it works.

I get browser as well as email alert. But I cannot see the same under 'Live Security Events' Live Log or even the 'Threats' table values on Trend Micro Content Security -> Monitoring in ASDM.

Please assist.
