Hello sir,

we are using Ciscoworks lms 3.1 in our network.

We have nearly 30 remote sites connected to our network. Weekly we have to make the interface utilization report of our sites.

Our sites are having different bandwidth link 2MB, 5 MB.

We want to manually configure interface bandwidth to get peak report of interface utilization on hourly, daily and monthly basis.

Comparing to BMC dashboard there is an option to assign bandwidth manually. Based on assigned bandwidth the report is generated.

We have already configured interface utilization and threshold on routers.

The result report is not satisfactory.

IN HUM can we manully change bandwidth and get the interface utilization report as assigned bandwidth.

Your help is highly appreciated.

If I understand you correctly, what you want to do is not possible. HUM obtains the bandwidth automatically using the ifSpeed (or ifHighSpeed). You can change the bandwidth on the device using the interface-level "bandwidth" command. You could also adjust your thresholds in HUM to account for a bandwidth which is different from what the interface is reporting. For example, if the actual bandwidth of an interface is half of its reported bandwidth, you could cut your threshold in half to account for it.
