Hi, does anybody have a sample network diagram doing L2 scretch across two Data Centers? Uptime has to be 99.9999%. Also is that possible to achive this without using STP?

Hi,

See the attached PDF with excerpts from a Networkers 2008 class called "Minimizing the Risks with Enterprise Multi-Site Data Center Layer 2 Connectivity" BRKDCT-2840.

You should contact your Cisco account manager and tell him/her you want to discuss using VPLS to connect multiple Data Centers with L2 services.

Given that you work for UBS, you have an entire Cisco team assigned to you to help you with these kinds of solutions and architectures. Take full advantage of that.
