Hi everyone

I got my CCNA certification on febrary 2003 ( expired on febrary 2006).

I want to recertify. So which exam should I do to be CCNA certified person or should I re-pass the whole exam of CCNA !!!

I saw on cisco web site that I need only the ICND2 exam ? is that right ?

Thanks for your help !!

Kader

Once your cert expires, it's as if you never had it (in Cisco's eyes).

You must start from the beginning.

Re-certification must be done before your old cert expires. This is true for all of Cisco's certification.

There documents on this are apparently not very clear, as this seems to be a popular question ...

Good Luck

You need to re-write CCNA. For routing and switching go for 640-802. Now they have different CCNA'S for each track.

The best thing with Cisco is to keep updating your skills. Had you appear one of the CCNP exam and clear it prior to expiration of CCNA it would have rather extended your validation further.
