i have cisco switch 2960 there is no ios in this switch but letters and words appears like that iÃ´chi think some thing wrong in language whate i can do to recover my switch and fix language problem

Does the strange letters and words appear with a console connection? Are you using the correct RS-232 settings (e.g. 9600 bps, etc.)?

How are you verifying that the console connection is okay? The switch does not support any other language. the issue is either the console is defective (hardware), wrong cable, wrong console setting. If there is no IOS on a 2960 you should get a "switch:" prompt, nothing else.

Check configuration register. Must be 0xF.

If set to another - console speed can be another. Try all available console speeds on your PC. Remove all points like Xon/Xoff, DTR/DSR, RTS/CTS.

i cant read any thing i havent ios in my switch i use now ifs commands
