AXL Perfmon query does not return expected results for Processor

Unanswered Question
Dec 28th, 2008

I am attempting to query the CPU utilization for a Unity Connection 2.1.2 server using the PerfmonCollectCounterData operation. The query for Processor goes fine and I get data back all with a CStatus of 1 but the results are 0 for everything. I can query other counters fine and I get good results for Memory, System, Network Interface, etc. I am also seeing the same thing with bad data for Processor on a Call Manager 6 server. Anyone have any ideas on how to get good data? Do I have something wrong in my query?

Here is my query:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"

xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/"

xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"

xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

<soap:Body soap:encodingStyle="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">

<q1:PerfmonCollectCounterData xmlns:q1="http://schemas.cisco.com/ast/soap/">

<Host xsi:type="xsd:string">unity2</Host>

<Object xsi:type="ns1:CounterNameType">Processor</Object>

</q1:PerfmonCollectCounterData>

</soap:Body>

</soap:Envelope>

And here are some formatted results for it:

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

| Value | CStatus | Name |

| 0 | 1 | \\\\unity2\\Processor(0)\\% CPU Time |

Thank You,

Sorry the table didn't turn out so well. The forum didn't seem to preserve my spacing. That and no fixed width font :(.

Hello,

Did you ever figure out the solution to this issue? I am noticing the same problem against a CUCM 7.x instance and came accross your post. Any details you can share would be greatly appreciated.
