Is it possible to combine both the OER and VRFs on the same router?
I'm dealing with the following topology:
LAN Segment A --- |--- Router A --- ISP A & ISP B
LAN Segment B ----|--- Router B --- ISP A & ISP B
On both routers defined a single VRF. Let say that LAN Segment A uses the GLOBAL ROUTING TABLE on both router and LAN Segment B USES VRF NAMED âBBBâ on both routers. By the means of HSRP LAN A uses Router A as it primary and B as a backups and LAN B uses Router B as it primary and A as it backup.
Each router has 2 internal links (both in different VRFs - global and BBB) and 2 exit links (the same). There is some basic BGP peering, only for obtain default routes and verify neighbor availability.
Is it possible for OER to treat both the VRFs differently? Say, keep Router A as the primary for the global routing table and Router B as the primary for the âBBBâ VRF? In short, is OER VRF-aware?
