IOS upgrade through ROMMON mode & AUX port

Can anybody help me on the below.

What are the available protocols to upgrade the IOS image into router in ROMMON mode and how to upgrade the IOS image through AUX port (Various possibilities).

If there is any documentation for IOS upgrade using AUX ports, Please share with me.

U can upgrade through console using xmodem. What series is ur router or switch?

Yes, i know about the XMODEM, but i like to know what other protocols can we use to upgrade the image.

AUX port is another port like console only you can access remotely. See the link

Whatever protocols u know works through console will work when u access via Aux port.

In ROMMON mode apart from XMODEM you can use tftpdnld (TFTP in ROMMON). see the link
