This appears to be a known issue but looks like it was supposed to have been resolved in my version, 4.0.12.
What I am seeing is some hosts showing up 2-8 times in a UT report, all with same information, but with different "last seen" info for each line.
Is there any work-around or fix for this?
thanks!

This is a known problem, and while it was fixed, it is not auto-correctable. In order to correct the problem, the ANI database must be reinitialized after upgrading to a fixed version:
NMSROOT/bin/perl NMSROOT/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI
Afterwards, you will need to run a new Campus Data Collection, followed by a new UT acquisition. The duplicates should not return.

Thanks Jclarke, will this process take anything else "offline"? Don't remember what the ANI DB affects....

The Daemon Manager will need to be shutdown. Only Campus Manager data will be lost, though.

Thanks much Jclarke, this did the trick.

I did notice that this returned not too long after this fix.
At this time, UT reports are still showing 2-6 entries for some hosts.
Should I rerun the purge again or do you know of another fix?
thanks

Some duplicates may be fine. Is the only difference between them the last seen time?
