1. This is typically an issue with the distributor AW attempting to complete an update to the central controllers before it has had the chance to be updated with the newest configuration. Generally a reboot of the AW/HDS will resolve the problem. Have you had many updates/config changes since you resynched the loggers in your previous post?

2. This is a benign error message, see the bug toolkit for bug ID - CSCsk61959

Hi Joe,

Let me piggy-back on this thread, cause I have a similar issue.

When looking at a Router logs I see that ocasionally CC DB updates are rejected, but the message is a bit different.

Here is a portion of the log showing failure:

08:48:32 ra-rtr UpdateCC lock granted to hunguyen-admin on IPCCAHDS.

08:48:32 ra-rtr Requesting Version (46). TID 2000000298.

08:48:34 ra-rtr Trace: Full transaction received from AW

08:48:34 ra-rtr Logger permission for 100 more items.

08:48:34 ra-rtr UpdateCC from hunguyen-admin on IPCCAHDS rejected by the logger.

08:48:34 ra-rtr All configuration operations complete.

But a few minutes later the same user shows a positive result in the log:

08:52:09 ra-rtr UpdateCC lock granted to hunguyen-admin on IPCCAHDS.

08:52:09 ra-rtr Requesting Version (46). TID 2000000301.

08:52:10 ra-rtr Trace: Full transaction received from AW

08:52:10 ra-rtr Logger permission for 100 more items.

08:52:10 ra-rtr 6 items in 0 seconds, 0 per second.

08:52:10 ra-rtr Updated 1 agents on controller USSCLA_GenericPG (ID 5000).

08:52:10 ra-rtr UpdateCC operation by hunguyen-admin on IPCCAHDS completed successfully.

08:52:10 ra-rtr Trace: Changing last update key from 514,308,645,876 to 514,308,645,884

08:52:10 ra-rtr The config sequence number of 514,308,645,884 has been broadcast to all distributors.

08:52:10 ra-rtr Controller USSCLA_GenericPG given config sequence number of 514,308,645,884 514,308,645,884 514,308,645,884.

08:52:10 ra-rtr All configuration operations complete.

I am affraid that some of the changes attempted to be saved and then CC update failed, so those changes were lost....

Can you please shed some light on this?

Thanks!

David
