DFM alerts on previous trunk interface

I had some 3500 switches with redundant links to my core switches, and I decided to remove the second link. Once I removed them, and removed the trunking commands as well, LMS still is keeping these active alerts on the portal dashboard. Is there a way to permantely remove these?

Exactly what alerts are you seeing?

Its an operationally down alert:

PORT-Switchostname/65 [Fa0/48] [Uplink to 6509 (P3/38)]

Its basically is saying that the previous uplink (F0/48) is down. Its true that is it down because I removed it because I am now using G0/1. I basically want LMS to stop alerting me on this interface because I am no longer using it as an uplink trunking port.

If you set this port to be administratively down (i.e. shut it down), then DFM will stop alerting on it.
