CASE Update Failure

I am getting CASE update unsuccessful. The specific error on the appliance for this failure is: Error transferring CASE update directory information 'http://downloads.ironport.com/as/case.ini': I/O error opening URL 'http://downloads.ironport.com/as/case.ini?version=6.5.0-405&model=C650&serial=0019B9B74A3B-D796TC1&t_version=2.6.2-006&e_version=2.6.2-006&has_vof=15000&has_ipas=1&has_sbnp=1'

The GUI reported CASE Core Files 09 Oct 2008 19:19 (GMT) 2.6.2-006 Virus Outbreak Rules 30 Dec 2008 12:12 (GMT) 20081230_120608 CASE Utilities 09 Oct 2008 19:14 (GMT) 2.6.2-006

If you force an update it seems to work. Why does this not work automatically?

Hi John,

I gues you faced some kind of a network issue between your Ironport and the download servers, sometimes this happens.

I would not worry until you receive these errors more frequently (everey 2 or 3 days)
